Kingfisher
Kingfisher. I don't think there’s much that can beat seeing the intense blue and orange of a kingfisher flash past. They sit patiently above the water, waiting for the perfect moment to dive for a fish (they can dive up to 25mph whaaaat!), and then disappear again just as quickly. I think that little glimpse of something wild and unexpected is what makes seeing them so special.

A note about handmade prints:
Each print is individually hand-printed, so no two prints will ever be completely identical. Small variations in ink coverage, pressure, texture and registration are a natural part of the linocut process, and you may notice tiny areas of ink, subtle marks or other little differences from one print to another. These are not flaws, but part of what makes each hand-pulled print unique.
The paper I use is also a beautiful handmade, fibrous cotton-rag paper, so you may see natural speckles, flecks and strands of different colours within the paper. These can sometimes be visible around the edges or through areas of the print. Each sheet has its own character, meaning every print is genuinely one of a kind.
By purchasing a handmade linocut print, you are embracing these natural variations and the individuality they bring to each piece.
